The Flowair ELiS AX air curtain is designed to create a highly effective air barrier across doorways, reducing heat loss in winter and preventing warm outdoor air from entering air conditioned spaces in summer. By stabilising indoor temperatures at building entrances, it helps maintain occupant comfort while significantly reducing energy demand on heating and cooling systems.
The unit has been engineered for maximum efficiency, with optimised airflow distribution that delivers strong performance even in demanding applications. Intelligent automation allows the curtain to automatically adapt its operation to changing weather conditions, ensuring consistent protection and optimal energy use throughout the year.
ELiS AX is available with two types of water heat exchangers in 3-row and 4-row configurations. This enables operation with low-temperature heating media, making the unit fully compatible with modern heat sources such as heat pumps. As a result, the system supports low-carbon building strategies and aligns with zero-emission building policies.
The Flowair ELiS AX operates as part of the intelligent FLOWAIR SYSTEM, enabling centralised control of multiple devices for maximum efficiency. The T-box touchscreen controller manages operation based on demand, delivering energy savings and streamlined system management, with support for OPTIsmart functions and both simple and Modbus BMS integration.
A wide range of sizes allows precise matching of the air curtain to entrance dimensions and usage levels. The ELiS AX is available in four standard lengths of 1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m and 2.5 m, with airflow ranges suitable for door heights of up to 4.5 m. This flexibility ensures reliable performance across a broad range of commercial and industrial applications.
Designed for installation flexibility, the ELiS AX can be mounted in both horizontal and vertical orientations. This allows the unit to be adapted to a wide range of architectural layouts and entrance configurations, ensuring optimal performance even where space or structural constraints exist.
